Bought this off the stands when it came out. I was in love with the idea of the mini and maxi series and bought most of them from the Big Two. I always thought Hawkman was a cool looking character too, so it was really fun to see him get his own series. I've been hoping for this original to hit the market since the late 90's, and am shocked you found it at Comic Art Live, because I never saw it there, not even in the "SOLD ART" section! Congrats, man! Thanks, Ruben! I echo your sentiments on Hawkman's design. I've always felt it's one of the best superhero 'looks.' I'm glad I pounced when I saw it. I'm sure it wouldn't have lasted very long. Happy New Year to you and yours! |
