Part of the joy of Sandman is the variation of artists and interpretations of the artists (painters, pencillers, inkers, and colorists) that touch the book.  It is afterall about dreams, which are different for everyone.  I don't think that there is a "this is a better Sandman artist than so and so."  I enjoy Hempel's style becuase it is so different, hard lined yet elegant.  Congrats on a great page.
