That's really interesting. It's rare to see Batman shed a tear. Wonder what was going through David's mind at the time. This is a good commission because you wonder what was going on behind it.

Nice catch. Breitweiser's influence on Cap has been definitive, and for such an important and well known character, that's saying a lot. Wonder what different colorists might do with this.

What a great unique piece. Batman's cape is reminiscent of Bernie Wrightson's version in some panels of The Cult. I like it.

Love it. The Dude did a great full color poster of Batman in almost the same pose a few years ago, with backlit buildings against a starry sky. Very hard to find now.
