What an amazing and historic cover introducing Subby's new costume with an FF cameo as a bonus! Jon Romita had a knack for creating memorable covers and this was one of his very BEST!!! Always loved the black costume- so cool and so completely unique... it was the perfect new look for this regal and powerful character!

Hard to top the Thing battling Sub-Mariner, and in Subby's element no less- Fantastic page!!!

One of my all-time favorite covers from the very first Green Lantern comic that I ever bought- absolutely LOVE it!!! Always loved the subtleties of this comic with Adams working in likenesses of Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew and Alfred Hitchcock.

Everything about this page is great- the pencilling, the inking, the story telling, the drama- just really fantastic in every way! 

Great Piece!!! I especially love how Wrightson composed this scene with the center of interest in the background, framed by the foreground elements. In addition to being a esquisite draftsman and inker, he was also such a master of staging a scene!

INCREDIBLE piece!!! I wonder if the title of the paperback was really "The Texan"? I ask this because I bought a Bama painting that was framed, and like yours, had a very nice plaque that read "James Bama The Gambler's Wife". I looked all over and couldn't find a book of that title. I later discovered the book the painting was created for was actually called, "The Manor". I wonder if the same thing might have happened in this case?

Besides issues 1 and 34, this is far and away my favorite Sub-Mariner cover- just AWESOME!!!

In Addition to Sal's beautiful pencils, you gotta love Jim Mooney's inks completing the show... and that concluding announcement teaser, "This is it! Daredevil Breaks Loose!", is a fantastic bonus as our hero swings off unaware of what adventure awaits him in the next issue. Great stuff!

Fantastic painting!!! I always loved Meltzoff's underwater paintings and beautiful depictions of refracted light, and it's great to see his incredible talent applied to other subjects equally masterfully!

This has got to be one of Sal's best designed pages- everything about it is just perfect! And those crisp McLaughlin inks aren't too shabby either!
