Yes... an "ERROR PAGE"... If these things were coins, they'd be worth ten times as much.  Not to me, though.  I just love the time, skill and attention to effort these men gave to their work.  Wish it was published in Black and White sometimes since some colorists buried the detail.

That's for sure George!  Sometimes I buy things to rescue them, and then pass them along as gifts to people.  I did that with a bunch of Winnie Winkle strips and Mike Nomad strips a few years ago.  Nice work by Frank Bolle and Fran Matera that weren't getting any love.  Go figure....

Fantastic piece by another Phillipino Master.  These artists could have all worked well in Black and White, or Color.  I love the use of the white space in and around her body.  Mesmerizing!

Yes, most of the artwork done by the Filipino contingent for DC in the late 70's and early 80's is just outstanding.  These were people who were working for a tiny, tiny page rate -- and usually doing BOTH pencils and inks. There are a few of us who have been "caretakers" of these pieces on CAF:  Heidjer Staecker and Steve Kriozere just to name a couple.

Great image, as you would expect from him.  Bill Stout is a modern master.  If he is at a convention, be sure to stop by and say hello.  He is very open about his life and career.  Still a student too!  I bought a "life study" from him at a con a few years ago, and he told me you should never stop learning and improving.  Outstanding person, imho.  -Gary
