In case you're wondering this original has been in my collection since 1990 when I purchased it out of a CBG ad. At the time, it was a very messy assemblage of art, stats, and white-out all pasted down to a piece of acidic-looking shirt cardboard for support. To save it from impending deterioration, I sent it to conservator, Susan Cicconi,who performed what amounted to magic. Today, it looks great and stands as one of the earliest known JIM cvrs. in existence.

Wow! This was the first Ditko Spidey page I ever owned. Still feel it's a perfect example with Pete, Betty, J. Jonah, both Spidey and Mysterio in costume, a Ditko 'half-face,' and of course, the famous Spider signal! Even so, I let it go. WHAT WAS I THINKING?! :)

Still remember holding this one in my hands at a Chicago Comic-Con in the 90's and fretting over its $1800 price tag. Looking back, I must've been certifiable!

Although Wally Wood did the interiors and is credited with inking this cover, most sources all report Jack Kirby as the penciller to Daredevil #5. As a Kirby fan, that makes this find an even more thrilling one to me! A truly magnificent piece...and one of the few pre-1965 Marvel cvrs. I've ever seen.
