It says Brooklyn on the top which woud have narrowed it down to 1943-1950. Without mention of the color barrier, this would narrow it down even further before 1947. ![]() Nice sleuthing! You are RIGHT! I'll have to do some digging now to see if I can find when this was actually used. Thanks Marcus! |

JLA 7 page 13 Owner: skrilla 1212 Comment posted on 6/10/2023 I HATED that Hawkman wasn't part of this JLA. And although I still resent it... Azreal was a great character that Morrison wrote into some great stories. Then DC let that character fade away. (Sigh). Great page with some awesome images out of a stellar run. Kudos & thanks for sharing. |

Congratulations my friend on acquiring this gem and thanks so much for sharing your Quest treasures with us all here! ![]() Thanks Lee. You are too kind. I've been longing for a JQ cell with Jonny on it for YEARS. I had accepted that it would never happen, but then my luck changed and I was able to get this one with Jonny and Hadji. Task Force Z #12 page 22 Owner: Brian Peck Comment posted on 5/26/2023 I agree 100% with Reuben, The Eddie/Eber team is SO good. I started collecting Eddie's work because of the characters but it is some of the best quality out there in my opinion. They often do some off-beat books...but they make them awesome to read with their art quality. Just like this Task Force Z. And check out their Freedom Fighters books. Stellar |

Sabrina and Spectre Commission 3B Example Owner: Andy & Veronica Fish Comment posted on 5/1/2023 What a great concept and team-up. And if Wendy (the good little witch) from the Harvey label had also received an update like the Archie charaters, she and Sabrina would have been a great alternative and/or addtion to calling the Spectre. (I love team-ups and cross-overs and this really nails it.) Kudos on the design/layout . Awesome depiction. |

This page makes me wish that Adam Strange had been continuously published for decades past the '60's, and that Carmine could have drawn hundreds of stories of Rann's sleek, futuristic cities, the stars twinkling like diamonds, the strange creatures bent on conquest, and, most of all, Adam and Alanna, the smart, brave star-crossed lovers of two world's always finding their way back to each other. Oksner's inks mesh well with Infantino's pencils, very fresh! :) ![]() I agree SO much. The 1950s-60s tone should be a requirement for every Adam Strange story. Although I did enjoy some aspects of the latest Tom King/Adam Strange run, I really hated the darker negative outcome. Stories like from this page are just like they should be...fun! |

Strange Adventures #55 Page 6 Owner: Jim Martin Comment posted on 2/14/2023 This really is a charming and nostalgic page. It could have been a retelling of a Twilight Zone story. Yogi Bear 20 page 30 Owner: Dwayne Dush Comment posted on 12/30/2022

When Yogi was a little bear, he made a wish that Boo Boo, his beloved teddy bear, would come alive. Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Boo Boo is still John's constant companion, much to the chagrin of Cindy, Yogi's girlfriend. Though Cindy's displeasure is exacerbated by the pair's constant consumption of beer and weed, she's not the one who's most disappointed with Yogi; it may take the intervention of Yogi's boyhood toy to help him grow up at last. ![]() So that's a twist in the mythos I never saw coming! |

GIANT SIZE WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #4 page 18 Owner: Andy & Veronica Fish Comment posted on 12/27/2022 I have never been a reader of Marvel's "Werewolf By Night' books so this was my first look. From this page, I could easily see it as a television series. I really got a kick out of the sound effects; "WHUD" and "KREEESH" seemed particularly unique. And the last panel having a bow-tied guy yell out, "Look out--- he's BERSERK!!". I'm not sure if those came from the script, artist, or letters guy, but they sure give the page a distictive feel. |
