Great vintage Byrne piece! Congrats!

Great piece! He used some great photo reference for the fence, guns and some of the buildings to give it a very realistic feel! Interestting how his belt and skull logo teeth changed from the pencils to the finished inks, going with military pouches instead.

Thanks Alex! George's art definitely shined the brightest when he added his own highly detailed inks to his pencils! The detail in person is Incredible!

Great page featuring Kang!

Having bought and owned many original pages from both Davis and Farmer, including art from this series, I can confirm that both Alan and Mark worked on these pages on the same board as they personally confirmed to me. There is no separate board with Alan's tight pencils.

You know the drill, when you see a piece you want you jump on it before it changes hands a few times, and keeps going up in price. In this case, grabbing the prelim as soon as I saw it was available.

Thanks! This book I bought off the newsstand as a kid and the story made a huge impression on my young mind! Neal Adams influence is felt on this page in Mike's art, particularly the cape panel.

Great addition to your already Incredible Perez Collection! The Amazing detail is a hallmark of The Best Perez covers! One of my favorite attributes of this cover is the Monitor's head that is rendered in the feathering toward the bottom. Congrats!

I love all of the Romita Treasury covers and this was one of his most heart warming examples! I also love the feathering of his own inks that add so much dimension to his illustrations! Not lost in this piece is Luke Cage hanging a chain on the tree! Nice touch! Congrats!

I completely agree, this course down a darker path added that touch of realism to this series for me as well. I guess I was at the right age, as an early teen, when I originally read this that I was ready to digest more realistic deaths in comics. If I was a younger age, it may have been too harsh to accept.

Truth be told, I wanted to focus on collecting pages from the earliest issues, which were my favorites featuring the team battling the Destroyers. That being said, I wanted to share some of the other pages with other Elemental fans to fill that void in their collections. Sharing the wealth makes this a much more enjoyable hobby! By the way, I just realized I had 2 other pages from this issue I've never posted, for whatever reason, that I will post soon.

I love the inclusion of the rocket pack, harkening back to the original toy! This is rarely drawn on Karza, and shows the little details that a true fan of Micronauts would know!
