I never read this comic however I always loved this cover.  Just a testament to how great the art is that this image is burned into my memory regardless of the fact that I never owned or read it.  Just beautiful.

Nice job! I got the chance to ink a few pages of Kevin's on Dr Strange a few years back. Was terrifying. Having studied his work for so many years, I knew what it should look like.  But getting my hands to make those lines was another story.

Batman and Catwoman together and Gulacy illustrating the page.   Framing the page in solid black and the large blocks of black show the hidden relationship of this duo.  As the panels progress the realization is illuminated in white that it is time for Batman and Catwoman, not lovers.

Very nice Atlas / Seaboard page!  By issue 3, most of their titles were running on fumes, but the bigger selling ones like this still had the higher talents.  Heath is basically doing a war story and buddy cop movie with astronaut suits.  They could have probably ripped him off by taking that 6th panel, blow it up bigger, and put ben day dots all over it.

You have a lot of Love and Rockets art and I am jealous as hell.

I'm sure its like that every time you walk down the street with those hollywood sex symbol looks...

Aw, man I'm jealous. When I was a student years ago at the Academy of Art in S.F. We visited his studio. I wish I had an iPhone back then to record it .

Love this piece. Picked up this print from Amanda a long time ago, and it has made its way through our family. My wife had it at her office desk, and it now hangs in our daughter's room. 

Deserves the animated flying stars treatment just like WW show opening.  Just needs the theme music:
