Wow, a stunning example of his mastery. The composition is full of tension and anticipation, as the three men and the woman cautiously approach the window, each ready for action while the fourth man looks on in safety behind the others! The way Cornwell uses light and shadow to emphasize the figures, while leaving the cause of the disturbance off-screen, is brilliant. It keeps the viewer on edge, heightening the suspense of the moment. This is how you tell a story with a single image!

This an unforgettable piece that shows Cirnwell's skill in both storytelling and technical execution. Truly a masterpiece of American illustration!

Would love to see more original art from this trading card set! Did you and Denys do all the artwork? I've always wondererd-- most of the cards are unsigned, except for a handful that have Noelle's insignia.

CONGRATULATIONS on getting this cover! I still remember when this series came out and read it several times, I even have a full set autographed by Jimmy and Amanda. I've been hoping that someone one would do a adoption of it, it's like oceans eleven meets the actor characters from galaxy quest. Out of the four covers this one is my most favorite for I love the stand pics on top and the actors on the bottom with them looking like "what the hell am I doing here?" It's funny

Your collection of artwork is awesome, but such is its number, it may kill you if it all falls on you at the same time, as I think you have even more, leaning precariously, not yet uploaded. Death by comic art. I can see the headstone now..'His passion killed him' or the more poetic... 'By comic art crushed.'

Marvelous page! It's from the story "Outlaws of Space," in Lost Worlds 6, 1952. Inks by John Celardo.

I was just re-reading Daredevil and this was from the Mephisto run. It's issue 266 and page 2. It's unbelievable how great your collection is! 

Of course, I can be wrong, but those inks seem the ones from Klaus Janson (and that whiteout too!).I could check, this belongs to the first MCP serial, but being a 70-80's Janson fan I think I don't need to.

Anyway, just a wonderful page, nice setting and composition and great storytelling.

This was a commission of mine from back in the day. I got three from favorite movies that I thought he'd be a good fit for. Knocked all three out of the part. Albert really wanted this one, so traded the painting to him.

Very sneaky! Did you get a chance to ink much of Darwyn's work? Other than J. Bone, I thought he inked most of his own stuff.
