I was at a mid-90's show, possibly in Philadelphia, when this walked into the room and Scott Dunbar bought it.  He was beyond excited, which I didn't understand at the time becasue it was "only a pencil piece".  Kids say the darndest things...

It is fun to see very old comments.  I once commented that I had a certain piece but there was a ten year lag in my scanning, and someone replied ten years later saying they'd like to see the scan.  So I dug the art out and scanned it :)

As for the evil plan here, we're two years into the second decade! :)

Certainly being only mildly pervy is a goal of mine... :)  But serioulsy, and if there was any seriousness in the comment, what's worse: a 3-page run that ends with the Kenji page or a run that ends with the splash?  In one, he's the twisted onlooker, but in the other, is the viewer / art owner?  There's a difference for the reader, as the reader didn't know what was coming up.  But I did and bought the ages, so I don't duck the charges as easily.

Maria thinks you would make a nice courtier, and is sending you a one way ticket.

Really good one - my pet peeve on Maria sketches is when the fans aren't done with blades.  No issue here, and the garter belt is a great compliment
