I've been a fan of Mr. Starlin from way back with the "Death of Captain Marvel" graphic novel. A BoG by him was certainly a must so I'm utterly thrilled that you finally have one. Keep on truckin', Ari!

What I really like is that David made her look sweet and pretty without overly sexualizing the character. I wish Ari would help me get pieces of this quality. I guess I'm not in his inner circle. :-[

I saw this piece in person at NYCC and it looks even more incredible in person. Not only is Tony Daniel one of the best artists of his generation but he's the true definition of a mensch.

I was thinking of contacting Tim Sale in regard to a Reflector (three Decepticons combine to form a camera, how KEWL is that?) piece and perhaps Milo Manara for a She-Ra vs. Hordak commission.

It's funny you should mention that, Ari. I was in the middle of typing a 5+ paragraph description on all the ins and outs on how Dan and I worked collaboratively on this piece insofar as the poses, which Dinobot should be where, whether Grimlock's sword should be in his left or right hand, whether or not Swoop's mouth should be open or closed and other supah important detail of the piece but then I saw something shiny and I totally lost my train of thought. Ooh! There it is again! Mmmm... shiny.

I feel that if I can't, at a minimum, write a five paragraph description recounting all the fascinating details (what I was wearing during the purchase, the time of day, whether it was high tide or low, writing what the artist had to eat immediately preceding AND following the completion of the artwork, the denominations of the bills I paid for the artwork with, list the month/year/issue number of the first comic I ever read with the character in question AND a list of 10-15 names of people that I want to thank (Thank you, Ron Jeremy) for helping with the acquisition of the piece) of my purchase then I should say nothing at all. As Shakespeare said, brevity is the soul of wit. ;-] x 10
