Nice cover! I think Klaus Janson's pretty under-rated. He did great inking over Miller, but he definitely stands up in his own right.

Totally agree. I remember being really perplexed when they announced Allred as part of the new lineup on X-Force, but was completely floored with how insightful and great it was. Great page!

Yeah, technical issues with his art aside, I really remember loving this stuff when it was coming out. So full of energy and excitement! Looking at it now, it screams "90's", but that's not a bad thing. It's great and really brings me back.

A great page from a terrific issue. I remember reading it for the first time and waiting for the inevitable "comic book save" where the hero finds a way around defeat. And then slowly realizing that wasn't going to happen as each page got worse and worse for Alec and Abbey. Great work as always by Totleben, with fire and sadness. Great page!

I guess that's one of the upsides of the multiple redos of teh early X-Factor run - lots of extra art. This one's really nice! I definitely think it's better than the cover they ended up using.

This is a great cover! It was always one of my favorites - one of those "lost" Brotherhood of Evil Mutants stories that no one seemed to know about but had a huge impact on X-Men continuity. Love the layout too, just a great cover idea from a great artist.
