Secret Wars was my first exposure to Doom as well! Specifically, I read Secret Wars #11 in a barber shop, and he was super-intimidating in that issue, especially since he had the power of the Beyonder.

Anyway, great cover from Trevor! Although I think I like the first hand drawing more, but I can understand why he changed it.

The best thing about Tom Fowler commissions is that you can give him just a character's name and he will somehow tell a story with each commission. He's an artistic genius.

One of my favorite Tasmia drawings! I loved all of Baker's work in Who's Who in the Legion, as it was so different than what we usually saw in the regular Legion books.

Oh dang, so happy you got this! Stelfreeze of course does a great job of depicting Panther here (love those shadows), but I really love the burning flags which hint at the story within the comic itself.

Infantino was a master of conveying action in his storytelling, and this page is a prime example. Oksner's inks work really well with him, too.
