Frank Frazetta Primitive Beauty w/Caveman illustration (1968) Owner: Tom Coker Comment posted on 2/25/2024

Just recently picked up the large Frazetta coffee table book (Taschen had a 50% off sale) and noticed a very familiar image as I was flipping through it. So I thought I'd pop by your gallery and pay homage (as I had sacrilegiously failed to do so in the past). As someone who would be honored to see this in person at least once in his lifetime, I can only imagine what it's like to be able to do that every single day. Absolutely phenomenal piece. ![]() Eric, It would be my pleasure to show it to you in person! We need to get together sometime. :) |

Brian Bolland Batman Owner: Matt Moore Comment posted on 2/19/2024 Bats might be just as completely bats as this portrait conveys! He undoubtedly has more Joker in him than he cares to admit except when he's making crazy Joker faces in the mirror. Not sure how I missed this gem all these years. Love it! And love your awesome Bolland prelim collection! |

The Bribe!", Splash Owner: Lars Teglbjaerg Comment posted on 1/7/2024 I can't believe there's only 3 comments on this classic EC story after all these years! This is a super-fantastic Woody EC story. For me many of the Shock stories were the best, and the toughest stories, that EC produced. Horror and Sci Fi twists were great - we all love em, but Shock stories took out all the stops in social and ethical commentary. They were often a gut punch that left us feeling a little sick cause they portrayed real life, and all mankind's brutality. |

|
"The Bribe!", page 7 Owner: Lars Teglbjaerg Comment posted on 1/7/2024 Ominous and brutal indeed. This is a really hard hitting EC story. This is what made EC so impactful. And Woody's art cannot be beat! |

The Saga of the Swamp Thing #27 page. 05 Owner: David Kwock Comment posted on 12/19/2023 Man! I'm in love with this fantastic page! Well done on picking it up. There's just no eye candy more sweet than the textures and feathery details that Totleben treats us to with his inking. Nothing compares. Btw, i couldn't agree more about how fantastic and important the Moore/Bissette/Totleben Swamp Thing run was. Completely inspired me and transformed my view of comics. They didn't all have to be Super Heroes fighting Super Villains! (although that's kinda what's happening here on this page LOL). |
