I can definitely see that.  I don't think he ever worked on the charecter, although you never know.  He does a lot of animation work & that doesn't always result in an actual show.

I think so too!  I have been looking for a version of Wonder Woman by Costa & I love how she looks here.  Having Batman & Superman was icing on the cake for me.

Mike is a genuinly nice guy.  I know the first time I met him I was so happy that he was such a cool guy to hang out with since he had been one of my favorite artists for so long.  It's always great when the creator's personality is as good as their art!

Wow!  That's just beautiful!  The shadows dappled on Tarzan just make the piece for me for some reason.  Really, everything about it is excellent.

I'm starting to get the bug & may have to cover the garage refrigerator with art/magnets.  I don't trust putting them on the one in the kitchen.  Too much chance of them getting knocked off.  The garage fridge is mostly wine.  It makes me happy when I open the door & I see the art more often than most of my collection.

By comic book logic, the wineer is whoever is in their own comic.  Otherwise it's Green Lantern.  He has the power of god on his finger & the Iron Man from that time period had to worry about his transisters running out.

What a great idea!  Very cool to see your book completed.  I have only managed to complete 1 sketchbook in 28 years, so I know how long of a process it is.

That's a good point.  I think she did a good job of making the character recognizable while still doing her own style.  That's tougher with a character like this than with someone with a costume like Superman.

I plan to get it framed & hang it on the upstairs landing.  In the meantime I have it propped up in my office so I can see it while I'm working.

It's the sort of thing that I can get away with hanging out in the house without my wife complaining about comic art!

The only thing that made me hesitant was that the price didn't go through the roof.  I kept expecting to get outbid & when I didn't it made me slightly uncertain.  The style jumps out though.

I wish I could get a better image.  There's a lot of subtle lighting that gets lost.

I have a few more by him for sale.  I paid more for this one than any of the others, but it clicked for me.

You might be right.  I have it hanging above the window above my desk.  The longer I have it there, the less willing to part with it I'm becoming.  I changed the for sale status.to accepting offers.
