Totally agree - Big John B was in a league of his own. Total natural genius. We are all so lucky he decided (sometimes against his wishes) to embrace comics (and not the Sistine Chapel ;)

Nice. Go check out the last 2 pages in this story - Ditko's Spidey influence comes through (and Kirby's lessens) as seen in Spideys face profile. Goes from Kirby Spidey face (ala ASM 10 cover), to Ditko Spidey face profile (ant like). Interesting ... maybe Ditko had enough of Kirby drawing 'his' character (?)

I could never understand why people complained in the early Spidey letters pages that they didn't like Ditko's 'half Parker, half Spidey' faces. This is awesome! You don't see pages from 13 very often, nice!
