Lol, agreed. ~ 1995 I remember seeing two consecutive Ditko ASM awesome fight pages from issue 7 owned by fellow CAF member and friend, Clem So for $3-4k each. That memory still hurts, lol. Still, love your Speedball page, easily the most memorable and best of the series. Jackson Guice was both sympathetic and complementary to Ditko's pencils, taking his time and making these early stories quite special indeed. Congrats!
I love the early first Ditko ASM villain appearances. This splash->cover is fantastic!!
Cool page! First story page Ditko Spidey's are always neat. Great Torch & Spidey panels! Enjoy :)
I've always wondered what color Ditko intended the background to be on issue 8? The lack of background is kinda like 25 (also yellow)
My favorite issue and splash turned into my favorite cover! Love it! Great idea :) What a talent, perfectly cool.
Thank you for sharing this. WOW, must be one of the best - peak period - Big John pages in existence. Superb!

Absolutely perfect & powerful Big John B cover! Bill, George Klein inks? Thanks for posting this gem :)
Fantastic! IMO, Barks is right up there with Kirby and Eisner as the best comic medium multifaceted story-teller. Superb, thanks for posting!

A wonderful page from the earliest known ASM issue to have hit the market. Congratulations, great to see more of these pages out there!
Awesome! Fav artist on Spidey (after Ditko), and Buscema was in his prime here :)
Buscema's pencils are so strong during this Klein run. It's like he almost cared about drawing superheroes back then - likely also caught up in the Marvel magic whirlwind of that time - wonderful stuff, thanks for posting!
I love this. Quintessential EC Horror!!! Fantastic!!!
What a great piece, and wonderful story. Getting totally stoked about locating, then enjoying OA is what this hobby/site is all about. Superb stuff, congratulations!
That is fantastic! Ditko's art around this period is so clean. What a great example of two of the best at their peak.
I wonder if The Silver Warrior on the sign was painted by Frank? If so, the sign's probably now worth more than the office real estate!
Not usually a fan of Ditko's later Spidey's, but classic Gwen in panel 4!
Skrakk! Brok! indeed! Great example of the finest Trio (hey, let's give Stan a little credit) ever to work in comics! I like.
I can never make up my mind if Boba Fett was: bad; bad ass; uber cool; or all the above. Williamson was a true genius, and I would have hit the 'buy it now' button too.
One of the best Surfer pages out there! Dan Atkins inks on finest period Buscema are hard (impossible) to beat imho. Nice
Buscema/Klein combo up there with Buscema/Palmer IMO. Great page, love the action! Big John B was on top form during this period, so powerful! - fantastic!!!
What a superb long panel. Big John really was one of the all time greats. The Michelangelo of comics bar none. RIP
