How cool

I was fortunate to see two beautiful unpublished (written off) golden age Black Canary splash pages in 1969 that have never come to market. Great to see this emerge!

You are correct. To me, GL in panel 3 looks much more like Kane than Sekowsky; very cool

Many year ago I owned the original to the cover to JLA 14.

You are correct indeed in that they are actually panels from the original pages by Frazetta--some of which ultimately were published in a portfolio

Thanks for your comment. Several of the famous funnies covers were done in blue wash--it did not effect the printing process.
