 Sorry about that! Henry drew the original for a Chaity auction at the first Bristol Comic con 20+ years ago. I bought it at the auction. I sold it a few yaers later, but photocopied it. I traded art with someone and they asked if i still had it. i offered to redraw it as a gift in the trade. I don't remeber who it was, but it was never meant to misrepresent Henry. Henry's original wass signed in cursive next to Deadlock.
I should have signed it as a copy...but i never ever imagined it'd still be around 20+ years later. It was a silly sketch. |

It was the first of the 'new' Bristol cons.... and was in the lovely Watershed ( before they moved it to the grim Trainshed next to the Train station in later years. ) I was there with our Judge Dredd fanzine 'Class of 79', and 2000ad hadn't paid for a table, so they did their signings and portfolio reviews with us! Frank did such an awesome poster for it! Congrats! |
