Nice seeing SFBC magazine related art.  Any idea about the art?  Why they went 2 tone?  To save money on printing?  Kelly Freas is famous but what about the other artists.  Did they typically hire artist who did book covers?  Any info would be appreciated.

Dang it. One of the things I do when I see artwork is to guess when it was done. My instant thought on this was the 1970s but you have it being on a cover in 81. It has a heavy 70's vibe.
