Took a while to figure out a placement for the figures too, even though it looks deceptively simple and balanced. But with this many figures and this size it really took time to work out. But it was really fun.

Josh has been putting out some really really really beautiful work recently. And I shouldn't say recently because he's always been fantastic but man, this is stunning. And I am not normally all that big of an Ivy fan either

think the issue is that the scanners use really intense light and if you are using a lighter yellow it just gets completely overpowered and washed out. My scanner isn't the top of the range 3 grand type so you actually end up losing quite a bit of information. I am still trying to configure it all properly but yellow is a pain to scan if you are staying in the lighter values

I used to think the same thing. I suggest you follow Brian on Facebook and / or Twitter (@stelfreeze) if you don't already. The Twitter is brand new but Robert does a bang up job keeping everyone informed so those are two places to see what's going on and where Brian will be.

My favorite piece in your collection and you have many cool pieces. Good thing you asked for 'his' version of the creature, Eric hit this out of the park. I love the pilot fish on the arms, places the creature more in the oceans than the river but man, really really awesome.

I always thought of it that way too. I wanted a Christian Bale piece but I also thought that it could be something that hangs at the Wayne Manor or at Wayne Towers. I think that's why I went for the gold frame instead of my normal frames

I was never really into the cubs until this story arc. It now is my 3rd favorite arc from Fables. Congrats on this beautiful page; quiet but with such impact.

thanks guys! I actually didn't reink all of the piece in the end like I normally do, which makes the lines a lot softer in most of the piece. I just reinked the eyes. I also used a lot of what I now call my 'magical blue', which is just true blue but it has a nice quality to it that seemed to fit the piece =)
