You know, I was so used to seeing Georges on Buffy and Firefly that it took me a bit to get used to his work on Batwoman but then I enjoyed his different take too. These originals look significantly better than the final printed version. The pencils and inks are clean so I'm not sure what happened there but I have even more respect for the artists now.... Could be. I was lucky enough to run into Georges, Karl, and Dexter, all of whom were sitting within feet of each other at Heroes Con this year. It's a great show and the amount of original artwork there is staggering.

Thanks! The idea came from a fanfic I'd read a few years back and the mental image just wouldn't go away. Richard made it into a reality. He puts a tremendous amount of thought into his work, is great to collaborate with, and I'd recommend him any time for a commission. The types of motorcycles were mutually decided. The bikes being from the year the character was introduced was mine. The license plates were his idea, as was the rusty Gotham City limits signage.

Oh, that he is! I'm honored to own a handful of his originals. Even the simplest pages are just plain gorgeous. I have to wonder why DC made the edits on this piece. It seems so minor and Batwoman wouldn't use a gun with bullets on an enemy.
