CAF Update #133

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between February 6-12, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. Maureen wont let me own the first selection since it has a skull on it, but it's a fantastic Ninjak #2 cover by Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti. You've also got a Captain Universe origin pages by Steve Ditko and Al Milgrom, a Vampirella #44 page by the great Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, a Marvel Universe: The End #5 splash page by Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom featuring Thanos, a Mighty World of Marvel UK Cover by Al Milgrom from 1972, a gorgeous Warfront #37 page by Wally Wood from 1966, a Goon interior page by Eric Powell, a Roy Rogers Daily from 1961 by Alex Toth, a Conan DPS by Tim Truman, and finally a Super Team Family #9 page featuring the Challengers of the Unknown by James Sherman and Jack Abel that is absolutely stunning. A little something for everyone's taste in this week's Heritage auction!
