CAF Update #138

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between March 13-19, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. This week's picks are all pretty much slam dunk artworks that are guaranteed to do well, and be of interest to most collectors. There is a Moon Knight #55 page by Stephen Platt and Chris Ivy, a Marshall Rogers and Terry Austin Doctor Stange #48 page from 1981, a Bernie Wrightson pen and ink creature illustration, a Mike Deodato Jr and Tom Palmer Avengers #401 page, a Joe Kubert Tarzan #245 page with Tarzan battling a lion, a Keith Pollard Inhumans #10 page from 1977, a Pacific Comics P. Craig Russell Elric #3 page from 1983, an H.G. Peter Sensation Comics #76 panel featuring Wonder Woman from 1948, a Keith Giffen Omega Men #4 page, and finally a Joe Staton and Frank McLaughlin Tales of the Green Lantern Corps #1 splash page.
