CAF Update #142

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between April 10-16, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 12 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is this Wellington Alves Cosmic Commission featuring Galactus, a slick Murphy Anderson Hawkman illustration, a Frank Bellamy Eagle painted page featuring King David, a nice selection of Black Cat Statue Design sketches by J Scott Campbell, a painted fantasy book cover by Kai Carpenter, a Jim Cheung and Mark Morales Infinity #1 page from 2013, an Avengers vs. X-Men #11 page by Olivier Coipel, a dramatic Guy Davis Sandman Mystery Theatre #16 page, a Batman Universe DPS by Nick Derington, a beaufitul Frank Godwin Rusty Riley Daily from 1948, an incredible splash page from Fantastic Four Annual #24 by Al Milgrom featuring Korvac vs the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, and lastly this Bill Sienkiewicz Gamora painted commission. A little something for everyone's taste in this week's Heritage auction!
