CAF Update #159

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between August 14-20, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is a very nice Joe Chiodo Alien Worlds #1 painted cover available, an Action Comics page featuring Superman versus Darkseid by John Byrne and Dick Giordano, a World's Finest #319 page by Jose Delbo and Alfredo Alcala, a Dan Jurgens Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes #320 page from 1985, an Artgerm sketch cover featuring the Black Cat, a Frank Miller and Bob McLeod Marvel Two-in-One page from issue #51, this nice inkwash page from Marvel Preview #10 by Jim Stalin and Tony DeZuniga featuring Odin, Thor and Loki, a nice commission style piece by George Tuska featuring several Marvel Heroes, a Web of Spider-Man splash page by Alex Saviuk, and finally a nice Legends of the Dark Knight #3 page by Darick Robertson. As you can see, a little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
