We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between October 16-22, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.
I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. This week we've got a pair of small T-Rex pencil prelims by Frank Frazetta, a Brian Froud Dark Crystal Mystic painting, two pages from Spider-Man 2099 #25 by Leonardi and Williamson, a pimpin' R2-D2 painting by Jason Chalker for you Star Wars fans, an Uncanny X-Men #223 page by Kerry Gammill and Dan Green, pages 23 and 24 from Justice League Quarterly #14 by Mike Collins and Eduardo Barreto, a George Pratt painted Batman Illustration, two incredible auction lots by Raulo Caceres (one a complete story and the other a wraparound cover), and lastly a page from Wolverine #123 by Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz. As you can see, a little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
