We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between May 5-11, 2025, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.
I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions current Weekly Comic Art Auction. There is an (OAX Alert!) Art Adams Mohawk Storm sketch, a Love & Rockets cover to issue #11 by Gilbert Hernandez, a page from Dreadstar #5 by Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom from 1983, a stark and cool X-Men #195 page by Humberto Ramos, a pair of Batman daily strips from 1991 by Carmine Infantino, a group of 4 pieces of trading card art by Michael Kaluta, a World's Finest page without Superman or Batman by Steve Rude, a 1-page story on duoshade board from CYCLEtoons by Bruce Steffenhagen, a great Hellboy and the BPRD: 1957 page by Laurence Campbell, and lastly a pen and ink Judge Dredd illustration by Esad Ribic (OAX Alert!)! As usual, something for everyone's taste in this weekly Heritage auction!
