Matthew Allison is an independent cartoonist, writer, and artist best known for creating the acclaimed creator-owned comic series Cankor. His work blends autobiographical storytelling, surreal imagery, and classic superhero influences, resulting in a distinctive style that has earned recognition throughout the independent comics community. Based in Chicago, Allison has spent more than a decade self-publishing comics and contributing cover and illustration work while continuing to expand the world of Cankor through new stories and collected editions.
