Matt Allison
Born in Colorado, Matthew Allison was fed a steady diet of comic books, Godzilla toys, horror movies and KISS records to ensure he’d grow up a rabid 70s Monster Kid. With a style referred to as 'bizarre and lovely' by Paul Pope, Allison has been self-publishing his comics Cankor and Sweet Sepulcher since 2012. Along with his personal work he’s also created covers for Head Lopper, Bully Wars, Space Riders and The Realm. His other credits include illustrating stories for Heavy Metal and Creepy as well as pin-ups for The Humans, Copra, Bloodstrike, and Sabertooth Swordsman. In 2020 AdHouse Books released a collected edition of Cankor.
