Description

This is the fourth cover Wrightson drew for Marvel in the fall of 1970; and that’s Wrightson himself, on it, in the shorts. (Is the striped-pants dude Archie Goodwin? Thanks, Ted!)

Game over for me, I think; a la fellow collector Jeff Sharpe, I should just pack up my toys and go home.

Thank you to Bechara and to a pair of fellow collectors and to the Comic Art Gods. Never did I think I’d own a cover, let alone a Wrightson cover.
