A very early Bill Ward, and very rare to see one of this incredible quality in watercolour.

It is also rare, as it was used on more than one cover for Humorama which may be the only time this ever occured. The piece is just that special!

Cover of Comedy Magazine, in March 1953.

Re-used as the cover (again) of Cartoon Parade, in May, 1962, with a reversed image. See additional pics.

Also was the inside cover of Cartoon Parade in October, 1972.

I suspect it was also published in the interiors of some of the magazines as well.
