Description

After reading The Crusades and seeing his character Venus Kostopikas, I thought that Jones could draw a great sexy Power Girl. Way back in 2010, I tried and failed to get a Power Girl sketch from him at DragonCon. When I heard he was going to be at the Nashville Rock and Comic Weekend for one day, I didn't wait around. I contacted him about getting on his pre-con sketch list. Being a fellow Wally Wood fan, he readily agreed. I have to say that I was not disappointed in the outcome. This commission is probably my favorite Power Girl sketch in my collection. I love her figure, I love her cape, I love the cross-hatching on her uniform, I love the smokey background, I love the broken-up robot with the fist sized dent in his noggin. I am just incredibly happy to have acquired this wonderful piece of artwork.
