Here's a biggie! I adore the paintings of Charles Vess. When it comes to fairy tales, folk tales, and fantasy there are few who can capture the feeling of these types of stories in their art like Vess does. You may also be aware that one of my favorite writers in comics and novels is Neil Gaiman. I asked at the Vess booth if there were any pages from work written by Neil Gaiman available, and was responded to with a chuckle, but then we found this baby from Gaiman's "Instructions," which happens to be a color piece and I could afford it!!! I am over-the-moon to add this piece to my collection...it even has a feather to speak to my love of birds!

It's big...a smidge over 14" x a smidge under 16". :)

Signed and dated 2009, and then signed again and dedicated to me with the quote "trust your heart, trust your story" (from the book) by the man, Mr. Vess, himself at the con this weekend. The "2015" in the title is the year the book was published.
