Super thrilled to score this key Harley Quinn page from the recent Comiink auction! Thankfully Comiclink didn't list the importance of this Suicide Squad comic or I would have had to pay more. This comic is the first time Harley Quinn joins the Suicide Squad team and begins her path to becoming an antihero. This storyline also starts the trend of Harley getting her own stories away from Joker and Batman. It's also the introduction into comic continuity a major change in her costume. In my opinion this is the best page in the comic. It's the only full team image in this issue was used in several articles when the Suicide Squad movie was coming out. This is also the 1st Suicide Squad team appearances for El Diablo, Savant, Black Spider & Voltaic. This comic was a full reboot of Suicide Squad and ignores the previous 3 volumes.

July 2011 the Batman Arkham City video game was released which coincided with a limited prequel comic series by Paul Dini that filled in the time after Arkham Asylum and before Arkham City. The video game first introduced Harley Quinn's new costume look which was then first printed in issue 3 of Batman Arkham City. The classic clown Harlequin costume she started in was no more. This change was then introduced into continuity for this issue of Suicide Squad #1 in November 2011.

Penciled by Ransom Getty on approx 11" x 17" DC Vertigo comic art board. It's also signed Ransom in the bottom right margin.
