Description

Beautiful page from the 1970s black and white mag Rampaging Hulk, pencilled by Jim Starlin and superbly inked by Bob Wiacek. Man-Thing in some great poses across 5 panels and some truly dramatic lighting and great use of zipatones.

A classic example of Starlin at the height of his powers, inked with atmospheric aplomb. Really engaging script by Steve Gerber of Howard the Duck fame makes this true Marvel Bronze Age gold! Signed by Jim Starlin and dated 1981, with the Marvel stamp of production in 1977 on the back.
