Description

This was an unexpected pickup, technically from NYCC 2024. I missed out on Pepe�s commission list for NYCC, both pre-show and at the show, but he said to check in on Sunday in case he had availability. I came back on Sunday, but I was unable to catch Pepe as he wasn�t at his table when I checked, and I had to leave. Fortunately, my friend Dan was picking up a commission from Pepe (he lucked out on the one full commission spot Pepe did for the entire show, a full-figure, full color Spider-Gwen) and was able to plead my case in my absence. Pepe agreed to do a rare take home request and Iciar would send it out when it was finished with some other art Dan had ordered from the Green Room. When I saw this pop up on Pepe�s socials, I was really hoping it was mine. Finally got it in over the weekend and it�s just as stunning in person. Really love the eyes and the lip bite. Just a ton of personality coming through in this sketch. Thanks to Dan, Iciar and Pepe.
