DescriptionIn 1994, and almost exactly one year after the Maximum Carnage storyline, Marvel promoted Acclaim's Maximum Carnage video game for the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis by releasing a unique edition of Amazing Spider-Man #394. This special issue features a foil cover and a flip book in the back containing a short comic story, Maximum Carnage game advertisements, game tips from the writers of the strategy guide, and it also includes three pinups, one of which is a character profile of Carnage and his alter ego, Cletus Kasady, with commentary by Ashley Kafka detailing his past and present psychosis.This stunning art was created solely by Shawn McManus is one of the finest Carnage images of the early 90s.
