DescriptionI've been dying to get a piece from Colton. I opted for a large two-character 16x20 painting. It's exceptional; however, it's downright hard to photograph. Scans don't work either, as the bed isn't large enough for the majesty of this piece. Colton goes above and beyond, painting the characters in an incredibly difficult perspective. Conquering that challenge, he still adds so much to the piece by painting a spectacular, incendiary planet and all the asteroids. The space scene alone is worth it; however, he paints two powerful X-Men showing off their powers. They are a perfect pair. I love how detailed Colton was with their uniforms. The optic blast is powerful but doesn't overpower the characters or the scenery. Jean's telekenesis is perfectly stated. Colton is so hardworking and talented. CheersSocial/Sharing |
