Description

Thirty-plus years ago I spotted my son Andrew lying on the den floor, drawing Spider-man stick figures. Over the ensuing years, I've dragged him to comic book conventions and into scores of comic book stores. I guess his talent for drawing Spider-man was founded early. Recently we were discussing some cover recreations that I'd just received, and I mentioned that I'd love a recreation of the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 294 by Mike Zeck and Bob McLeod. Andrew said, "I'll tackle that for you." Here's the final result and I think he nailed it. Andrew's specialty is photo-realistic portraits done in graphite, and he'd never used ink before this.
