DescriptionThis one sang to me.Who didn’t pencil MOKF? Short list. In my opinion, Gene Day drew shoulder to shoulder with a who’s who of pencilers on the title. Tragically, he died of a coronary while crossing the street in his hometown in Canada. Day was a mere thirty-one when he fell. In terms of this page, beyond the footsie-breaking third panel and the geometrical verticality and the King of Spades and clock motifs, I got nothin’. Many thanks to Bechara for the advance! P.S.
