What else can be said about Gabriele Dell'Otto? Whenever there's a conversation about comic book painters, he's usually in the mix. I started reading comics in the 2000's so he was my comics painter. He's the Alex Ross to the previous generation who was the Frank Frazetta to the previous one. But his color pallet is just next level. He can bring brightness to the dark and darkness to the bright. Just look at his Spider-Man. The way the red and blue blend and shine. It hurts your eyes but you can't look away. Every brush stroke hit the perfect spot.
