Lately I've been curious to dip my toes into the "randomly inserted" sketch card hobby. But no, no, the smaller the artwork the less desirable it is, right? And then it's unpublished. No!

This is a headshot of Wolverine as he first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #181 by Marco Carrillo. Marvel Beginnings trading cards focuses on first appearances and origins and their "First Draft Sketch Cards" feature characters in their first appearance looks. What better sketch card to kick off a collection than Wolverine as he first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #181? This headshot of the Romita/Trimpe costume design is by sketch card artist Marco Carrillo.

Better yet, the card was misidentified on eBay as Iron Fist so I got a steal on this one.
