Description

I was at Heroes this weekend and I went to Essential Sequential to talk to Jason and check on another highly awaited commission, and Dan Panosian was free and he pulled out this cover to ASM #8 with the new JRJR created villain, Hellgate. Dan has been a force in comics for some time, and in this cover Dan really pulled out the Romita retro vibes on. It doesn�t hurt that Black Cat is also right there!

The mix of the clean lines with the brushwork really make this pop, and I was thrilled to add this to my collection. Dan was super great and we spoke for some time about the cover and his inspiration for the approach. He even mentioned some variations he was thinking of doing on this cover, just a really nice guy!

It�s listed as a RetroVision Variant cover - and it gives me the 90s nostalgia that I love to collect.
