From about the 4th grade on, in the late 60's and into the 70's, I grew up reading Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzan, John Carter of Mars, Pellucidar ... I read all of the series and stand alone novels. I must admit it was the Frazetta, Krenkel, and Gino D'Achille cover art that first attracted me, but the stories were good and I kept coming back for more.

Today is the 150th Anniversary of ERB's birth, so in his honor I share Thuvia. A huge Thank You to Iain for taking on the commission ... very much appreciated!
