George P�rez is a legend. Full stop.

I grew up on New Teen Titans, Justice League of America, Wonder Woman, and, many more. Between Crisis on Infinite Earths and History of the DC Universe, there's perhaps no part of the DCU he didn't draw at least once in his time. And no one could pull off JLA/Avengers like he did.

While known for exceptional detail, in this simple sketch, his style blazes through despite the economy of lines.

I spent a mercifully short time in Central Florida and one of the bright spots was that George was a resident and active in both the comics community and community at large. I had the opportunity to meet him a couple of times and he was everything you wanted him to be.
