Description

An early philosophical Garfield, about three years after his syndicated debut. I've always wanted an example the strip from around the time I started reading it, and this one fits the bill nicely!

Garfield as drawn is in mid-transition from his original small, squinty-eyed appearance to his final cartoony look. Each panel is original art - note the changes in Garfield's whisker placement and the end of the window shade roller.
