Carmine Infantino (1925-2013) was an American comics artist and editor, who ushered in the period known as the Silver Age of Comic Books with the advent of the 2nd Flash in Showcase #4. In the early 70s he was the Publisher of DC Comics and during his tenure hired Jack Kirby to create the Fourth World titles, cut the deals for Super Friends and Superman: The Movie, and brought in artists Joe Orlando and Dick Giordano as editors. |
