John Bolton

John Bolton is a British comic book artist and illustrator most known for his dense, painted style. Bolton has been painting for over three decades and has collaborated with some of the industries most prestigious comic writers, such as Neil Gaiman, Mike Carey and Clive Barker. His early published work in the UK appeared in Look In, The House of Hammer, and Warrior, while in the US fans got their first taste of his work in magazines like EPIC Illustrated and some Classic X-Men stories written by Chris Claremont. He's painted many horror themed covers for Dark Horse comics, a genre which he is clearly a favorite of his. His work for DC Comics on Man-Bat and The Books of Magic with Gaiman are two of his most popular works from fans of his comic book work. johnbolton.com |
